Here today and gone tomorrow, what a lonely, heartfelt time when a person loses someone to old age or another life circumstance that we love and care about. We spent years around these loved ones, family, neighbors, friends, and acquaintances that guided us at a young age to become the person we are today. Then one day, we get the news that they have passed away from an illness or maybe just old age, but God has determined that their time here on earth had been fulfilled. Then comes the days after that we go back and read writings from them or find a diary or newspaper articles that help others remember who they were and what they did for their family, friends or society. Together we will share these poetic words from the past, original unseen poetry from different unknown people that dates between 1840 and 1890.
Inside this poetry book And Then They Were Gone. You will be walking with them, listening to them and learning from them like other generation before you, you will want to share this past love, faith and friendship over and over again, for you will be the one that will be touched all the way to the bottom of your heart from their words of life.
The words are kept in their original format and misspellings are the same as in the originals. I did not want to take anything away from the words or feeling they wanted us to hear by making corrections. What you will be reading is original poem writings. This is how they talked and wrote back then.
