Brent Casey, retired airborne ranger, returns back home to Abingdon, Virginia, to become one of the local game wardens in Washington County. All his military training and the support from his father who studied snakes as an herpetologist while in the army, will have to be used to handle the overwhelming problem of the timber rattlers that were released by the state to control the rodents problems.

What they did not know was the chemical plant has been dumping mercury into the North-folk river for years, which cause a D&A mutation in the rattlers, causing them to grow in size and their venom is super toxic.

One bite, three steps and life ends.
